It is advisable for
you pre-book and pre-pay Go Safari prior to departure to ensure a booking
and avoiding disappointment if you try to book on arrival and find out the
activities are fully booked.
The range of adventure activities available is
endless, activities below the falls, above the falls, over the falls and in
front of the falls.
Below is a short list of the more popular activities.
Please contact Go Safari for a full list of activities.
African Queen River Cruises -a must
Experience the spellbinding combination of the mighty Zambezi River and the
extravagance and gracious hospitality of the African Queen. Ideal for the
not so adventurous and groups.
The twin-deck, 120 seater African Queen is stylish and beautifully
handcrafted, with two bars decorated in period wicker furniture and steamer
chairs. It is the epitome of a classic Zambezi cruise experience.
Helicopter Flights
Flights take either 15 or 30 minutes and circle the Falls from different
sides so as to provide good aerial photography opportunities. It is the best
way to get a true understanding of how grand the Falls really are!
Microlight Experience
The microlight flying experience gives visitors a breathtaking view of the
Falls, the Zambezi National Park and surrounding area without disturbing any
game, all from an open cockpit.
Bungee Jumping
Certainly not for the faint hearted, the Victoria Falls bungee jump plunges
111m from the bridge linking Zimbabwe and Zambia towards the Zambezi River.
Intrepid adventurers can pay an additional fee for a DVD of their jump. Both
solo and tandem jumps available.
White Water River Rafting
Reputed to be the best commercial 1 day white water rafting in the world.
This half day or full day rafting is not to be missed for the
adrenaline junkie. This may not be available all year round due to high
water levels in the rainy season, July to October when water levels are low
is the best time to Go Rafting.
Gorge Swing
Less intense than bungee jumping but not to be underestimated, gorge swing
entails a 50m free fall into the gorge, followed by a series of back and
forth swinging before being lowered into the gorge.
Abseiling
Visitors safely drop 53m down the side of the gorge, either facing the gorge
or facing away. Climbers are fitted with a harness and make use of climbing
ropes and pulleys.
Lion Walking
This one hour experience sees visitors walking with a couple of lion cubs
running freely in the bush. Experienced guides accompany visitors to explain
how the cubs act in their natural environment.
Royal Salon
At the Royal Livingstone
Hotel for the more relaxed.
Enjoy a wide range of treatments
available from this world class spa.
Other popular tours are a day tour to Chobe
in Botswana, Jet boat extreme & Golf
Some activities require a minimum of 4 pax to operate. These are the
Helicopter, Fishing and Jet Boat Extreme. Should these activities be
pre-booked and pre-paid but are not able to run due to minimum numbers, we
will refund. Times for these activities should be reconfirmed on arrival at
the hotel.
All activities should be re-confirmed at the Activity
Centre on arrival at the hotel.
All guests
who need a visa
will need to buy a visa on arrival at Livingstone
Airport. A single entry visa is US$50.00 per person.
Clients who stay out of Zambia for one night and are flying
out of Livingstone Airport must get a double entry visa on arrival at a cost
of US$80.00 per person.
This is payable in US dollars cash only. Please also be advised that pre 1995
notes are not accepted within Zambia.
This does not affect Chobe Day trippers.
