Park is almost 2 000 000 hectares in size. This is larger than Israel and the same size as Wales. It is the eighth largest
national park in the world and the fifth largest in Africa. What makes the Kruger unique is that its biodiversity is unmatched,
with 147 species of mammal, 492 of birds and 118 of reptiles, along with 628 types of trees, shrubs and grasses as well as
thousands of insects. No other national park in the world can offer this.

Day One
Depart Johannesburg at 07h30 and travel east to Dullstroom and Lydenburg. A
short refreshment break in Ohrigstad then a drive along the panoramic route
along the escarpment of the Drakensberg mountains, stopping at the Blyde River Canyon
to experience the breathtaking view.
This magnificent canyon is the third largest canyon in the world. Continue down the Abel Erasmus Pass into the Lowveld and
a stop for lunch and time to visit a curio gallery. It is now only a thirty
minute drive to the private game lodge within "Big Game Territory". After
enjoying a relaxing drink on arrival, time to settle it is "safari time" we
board an open game tracking vehicle to explore the African Bush looking for
some of the many species that make this area home. At sunset sundowners are
enjoyed in the bush,
followed by a night drive using spot lights to look for the elusive nocturnal animals. We end the evening with dinner in a
traditional "boma" (reeded enclosure).
Day Two
A very early morning wake up call an a welcome mug of coffee with your ranger
before departing on the early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for
hearty breakfast, after breakfast there is time to go on a game walk with
your ranger or freshen up then enjoy the
lodge surroundings. Escape the midday heat by spending time in or around the
swimming pool, relaxing in a hammock, being pampered in the "sala" with a
massage or enjoy a siesta. An optional lunch can be enjoyed under a tree
looking out over the bush and a waterhole. Meet your ranger for an afternoon
tea and snacks before departing on the afternoon/evening game drive. After
the sun set stop for a drink the drive is continued with the aid of spot
lights looking for any animals not jet spotted. We end the evening with
dinner and drinks around a fire in a traditional "boma".
Day Three
An early start to the day with a sun rise game drive/bush walk accompanied by
your ranger. After a healthy breakfast, we leave the lodge and head back to
Johannesburg. We will travel up the Kowyn's mountain pass and visit Gods
Window, Lisbon Falls, and then the picturesque Long Tom Pass.
Arriving in Johannesburg at 17h00.
The itinerary may be changed to
accommodate weather and time constraints.

Spend a well deserved relaxing day at the lodge, enjoy an early morning game
drive followed by a delicious breakfast, then an optional game walk. Have
time for a pampering massage before lunch and high tea before heading out on
the afternoon/evening safari and enjoy dinner in the boma.
OR
A very early morning start into the game-rich central section of the Kruger Park where we spend the day viewing game. We will
stop at a picnic spot for breakfast and at one of the main rest camps for an optional lunch, returning to the lodge for dinner.
Day Three

hearty breakfast, after breakfast there is time to freshen up then enjoy the
lodge surroundings before leaving the lodge and traveling a short distance
to another lodge, arriving in time for lunch. Spend time exploring the new lodge
surroundings before meeting your ranger for an afternoon tea and snacks
before departing on the afternoon/evening game drive. After the sun set stop
for a drink the drive is continued with the aid of spot lights looking for
any animals not jet spotted. Return to the lodge and we end the evening with
dinner and drinks around a fire in a traditional "boma".
